MATTHEW CASHMORE

picture soon...Matthew Cashmore: September 2000 - July 2004

Matthew takes the word "muti-skilling" to another level - combining the unique background of a nurse, engineer, muscian and a self confessed gadget freak you can be sure that whether you have a sore throat, split reed or a blown fuse Matt'll fix it!

Matthew joined the orchestra as clarinet sectional tutor in 2004 as a welcome break from a new role at the BBC.

His day job is a Client-side Developer (that's very clever computer related stuff to most of us) for the BBC based at Pebble Mill, and his night life is pretty busy combining studying for a computer programming degree with seeing to his wifes every need!

Matthew took on the baton full time from September 2003, but has taken a break from orchestra duties while he embarks on a new theatre company - TheatreFunk
